Terms and Conditions

The service

Kubuf helps local stores bring people through the door with cash rewards. Shoppers browse nearby promos on Home, join a reward, then enter a store code in Rewards at the counter. Businesses post a campaign from Ads with a reward budget, recipient count, reward amount, store address, hours, category, and Instagram handle.

There is no setup fee and no contract to start. You can run one campaign at a time. After that campaign ends, you pay Kubuf 5% of the reward budget before you can post another ad. You can delete an ad only before it starts.

Eligibility

You must be 21 or older. You need a Kubuf account even if you already use Meetimi. Accounts are separate. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, business details, and campaign copy.

Shoppers

• Join only promos you intend to visit during the campaign window.
• Redeem in person. Enter the store code the business gives you at the counter.
• A reward can be redeemed once. An ended promo cannot be redeemed.
• Cash rewards are between you and the store. Spend them however the store allows. Kubuf does not hold shopper wallets for these rewards.

Businesses

• Honor the cash amount and hours you publish. Give the current store code only to shoppers who are in the store to redeem.
• Categories must match the store: Food & Drink, Retail, Health, Entertainment, Services, or Hospitality.
• Campaigns can also appear on Meetimi so more nearby people can join. That does not merge the two products or their logins.
• Pay the 5% campaign fee when it becomes due. Unpaid fees can block posting another ad.
• Do not post misleading rewards, fake addresses, or codes meant to game redemptions.

Location and photos

Nearby sorting uses location while you use the app, if you allow it. Kubuf does not require background location. A profile photo is required at signup. You grant us a license to show your photo, campaign art, and business name in the app and on partner surfaces such as Meetimi for as long as the promo is live.

Payments

The app is free to download. Campaign fees are processed by our payment vendor. We do not store full card numbers. Fees are quoted in US dollars and may be charged in naira at the rate shown in the app. Failed or reversed payments can keep an account from posting ads.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, reverse the app, or interfere with other users.
• Do not use Kubuf for illegal activity, harassment, or spam.
• Do not share another person’s store code or claim rewards you did not earn.

Availability

We work to keep Kubuf running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, a minimum number of shoppers, or a specific sales result. Listings, distances, and store hours can be wrong if users enter them that way.

Accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, fails to pay fees, or creates risk for other users. You can ask us to close your account with the account deletion form or by emailing privacy@kubuf.com.

Liability

Visits, redemptions, and in store conduct are between shoppers and businesses. To the fullest extent the law allows, Kubuf is not liable for lost sales, missed redemptions, or disputes at the counter. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the campaign fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
