Privacy Policy

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Kubuf mobile app and this website. It does not cover Meetimi. Kubuf and Meetimi accounts are separate. A Meetimi login does not sign you into Kubuf. Linked sites, payment processors, and store partners have their own policies.

Information we collect

• Account details you give us: name, email, phone number, password, gender, date of birth, and a profile photo. Signup asks you to be 21 or older.
• Location while you use the app, after you allow it. We use a one time position at signup and optional foreground location on Home to sort nearby cash rewards and show distance. Kubuf does not use background location.
• Campaign details if you post an ad: business name, category, Instagram handle, store address and map coordinates, reward budget, recipient count, reward amount, start and end times, and the store codes used at the counter.
• Reward activity: which promos you join, claims, redemptions, and whether a store code was accepted.
• Campaign fee records: the 5% fee on the reward budget after a campaign ends, payment status, and related notes. Payment processors may hold card or bank details that we never store in full.
• Device and product signals: app version, crash logs, push token, and coarse usage events that help us keep the product working.

How we use it

• Create your shopper or business profile and keep you signed in.
• Show nearby cash rewards on Home, including search and category filters.
• Let you join a promo, then redeem it in Rewards with a store code.
• Let businesses post one campaign at a time from Ads and copy the current store code.
• Place the same cash reward on Meetimi so more nearby people can see it.
• Calculate and collect the 5% campaign fee after an ad ends.
• Send push alerts you have enabled, and respond to support or deletion requests.

When we share it

We share information only as needed to run Kubuf.

• Other users see what a campaign publishes: business name, category, cash amount, store area, hours, Instagram handle, and distance if they share location.
• Meetimi can show Kubuf cash rewards to Meetimi users. Meetimi does not receive your Kubuf password or treat the two accounts as one login.
• Payment and messaging vendors process campaign fee charges and email codes.
• We may share records if the law requires it, or to stop fraud or harm.

We do not sell your personal information.

Location

Location is used while the app is open to find nearby reward promos and estimate distance in km. You can refuse location, but nearby sorting will be limited. We do not track you after you leave the app.

Photos and store codes

A profile photo is required at signup. Campaign photos or banners you upload are shown with the promo. Store codes are meant for in person redemption. Do not post a live store code in public if you want to keep redemptions in store.

Retention

We keep account, campaign, claim, and fee records while your account is open and for a limited time after that if we need them for security, accounting, or the law. You can ask us to delete your account.

Your choices

• Edit profile details in More.
• Turn location off in device settings. Nearby distance will stop updating.
• Turn off push notifications in device settings.
• Use the account deletion form or email privacy@kubuf.com to request a copy of your data or to delete your Kubuf account.

Children

Kubuf is for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
